Summary:
As Ash, Pikachu, and Misty continue to wander through Viridian Forest, Ash is challenged to a pokémon battle by a Samurai. A fierce battle of metapod versus metapod! The battle is interrupted by a swarm of beedrill which attack – stealing Ash’s metapod.



                              Episode 003. Ash Catches A Pokemon

     
Summary:
Ash, Pikachu, and Misty have entered the Viridian Forest where Ash captures his first pokémon – a Caterpie! Ash is overjoyed with this achievement. Misty is much less so as she hates bugs. Ash continues his pokémon catching success by capturing a pidgeotto. Then, as Ash and friends continue on their journey, they are interrupted by none other than Team Rocket!



                          Episode 002. Pokemon Emergency !


Summary:
Ash arrives in Viridian City just as Officer Jenny is looking for suspicious strangers. After verifying Ash’s identity as a Pallet Town Pokémon trainer, Officer Jenny escorts Ash to the Pokémon Center. A severely injured Pikachu receives emergency treatment from Nurse Joy and her chanseys. While there, the Pokémon Center is attacked by the members of Team Rocket!

Summary:
Ash Ketchum is finally 10 years old and may now become a pokémon trainer! Arriving late to Professor Oak’s laboratory, Ash almost misses his chance to start his journey. Professor Oak manages to save him by offering a more than reluctant Pikachu. Pikachu refuses to listen, obey, or assist Ash in capturing any new pokémon. Ash tries to capture pokémon without the help of Pikachu – which results in Ash angering a flock of Spearow!
